Malva’s collections consist of a poster collection and an art collection. The museum cares for a total of 9,000 works of art, some of which you can also see while walking about in the city. The Malva poster collection is incredibly extensive: we have more than 70,000 posters
We have published some of our art collections in the Finna search service, where everyone can see the works.
Lahti City Museums’ Kokoelmakummi-activities help us maintain our collections and make our collection work more visible to museum visitors. By becoming a Kokoelmakummi (Collection Patron), you have the opportunity to participate to this work.
There are some 100,000 objects, more than 70,000 posters, some 9,000 works of art and approximately half a million images in the collections of the Lahti Museums.
