LTI-120 Video Art Installation at Malski 6 pm to 10 pm

To celebrate Lahti’s 120th anniversary, the Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva and AntBrew present SELLEK’s video art installation LTI-120 as part of the Lahen Hohto event.
In LTI-120, SELLEK explores nature, concrete, and the essence of being from Lahti, blending these elements into a unified visual experience. The video artwork will be displayed on the light panels of Malski’s façade and on the exterior wall of AntBrew on Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st from 6 PM to 10 PM.
SELLEK (Tommi Mustaniemi), who grew up in Hollola but became an artist in Lahti, is a video artist who still carries the raw pulse of the city with him. Through graffiti art, he discovered visual expression, which has since expanded into the realms of music visualization and digital art.
His artistic journey, which began in 2009, has taken him from galleries to concert stages and back again, leaving a distinctive mark at every step. As an alumnus of the Institute of Design and now a teacher/specialist, he combines practice, culture, and technology—a blend that is evident in his local collaborations with AntBrew, Malva, Kuja Restaurant, and Lahti Basketball.
SELLEK’s visuals breathe in sync with the city: they can be gritty, vividly digital, or something in between—but always full of movement, texture, and intense emotion.
The video artwork is part of the Lahen Hohto event, which celebrates Lahti’s 120-year history.
