Mounted on the wall of a transformer station, Loviisa Ram is located where the Loviisa-Vesijärvi railway once ran. Designed by Lahti-based artist Virva Kanerva, the work is an entertaining comment on the history of the region, for the name Pässi (Ram) in the Finnish title of the piece refers both to the horned animal and to a steam locomotive known as Loviisan Pässi, which transported goods and passengers to and from the site.

A relief-like, ram-themed colorful artwork attached to an electrical transformer.
