Getting there

The Lahti International Poster Triennial brings to Malva masters of graphic design from all over the world. This year The Lahti International Poster Triennial will celebrate its 50th anniversary!

The Triennial is not only an exhibition, but also a competition in which an international jury seeks to identify the world’s most insightful posters. To honour the triennial’s 50th jubilee, the theme of our special anniversary category is ‘freedom of expression’. Although this inherent human right is protected in many countries, free speech still remains under threat in many parts of the world. This year there are three poster categories:
A Cultural, social and ideological posters
B Environmental posters
C Freedom of expression

This year, 240 posters from 25 countries will be on display at Malva.
