19TH LAHTI INTERNATIONAL POSTER TRIENNIAL

AT THE LAHTI ART MUSEUM 13 JUNE – 28 SEPTEMBER 2014

The traditional poster biennial in Lahti has become the Lahti International Poster Triennial. Arranged every three years, the triennial brought yet again the newest talents in poster art to the Lahti Art Museum. The exhibition organised by the Poster Museum was on display from 13 June to 28 September 2014. This year, the triennial’s exhibitions also spread to the Lahti Historical Museum and the Lahti Market Square.

Registration in electronic format for the Poster Triennial closed on 30 November 2013. By the deadline, around 2,400 posters by more than 1,500 designers from around the world were registered. A national competition committee selected 330 posters from 38 countries for the exhibition. The posters to be awarded were selected by an international jury.

The event patron was Sauli Niinistö, the President of the Republic of Finland.
