Almost everybody in Finland recognises the iconic soft drink poster of a temptingly bubbling lemonade bottle or the nature conservation poster of a smiling seal. This exhibition of Finland’s most famous graphic artist, Erik Bruun, features posters familiar to nearly every Finn. The exhibition also displays other utility graphics from Bruun’s career, which spans more than half-century.

Erik Bruun (b. 1926) is one of Finland’s most beloved graphic artists. Bruun, who graduated as a graphic artist in 1950, has created advertisements for Finland’s best-known brands during his career. Bruun has received numerous awards and is an Honorary Doctor of the University of Art and Design Helsinki.
